Our Queens
The queens are all healthy outgoing cats that have free range of the property... and rule our house! We have an outside cattery which they can choose to sleep in day or night.
Treetops Tonkinese are in a breeding programme with Colourfeild Tonkinese which allows us to have outside lines for our queens. It also provides us with top stud cats in the pursuit of breeding cats that have strong genetic lines for pets and in the show ring.
At Treetops Tonkinese we like our kittens to go to their new homes well adjusted and ready for their new family. They are used to kids, dogs and a busy household, which makes them confident and outgoing kittens.
Our kittens get very well handled. They are picked up and loved, while spending their first 10 weeks with their mother and extended cat family in our house. Tonkinese cats are intelligent, affectionate and seek out human companionship, for this reason they are a great breed for a family or as a companion.
With our breeding program we have several breeding queens and stud cats that have a variety of colours in their lines. We can have Minks, Sepias and pointed kittens of Seal, Blue, Lilac, and Chocolate.
Treetop's kittens come with their first vaccination and vet check. A bag of Royal Canin food, and a kitten pack with a sample of the litter we use.
We welcome visits to our home to see the kittens and their parents and any questions are gladly answered. We endeavour to breed healthy strong kittens that will grow into strong healthy cats which will give you years of love and laughter.

Icey is Ashas and Zeus’s Kitten, she is
a Lilac Mink with light aqua eyes (very pretty). Icey is a young, solid lass with a playful personality, always climbing and watching moths and butterflies, but not a hunter.
She gets on with all the other cats and just likes to be in on everything and is very busy. Ice has 2 baby boys that are 3 weeks old.

Narla is a registered Gen 1 and was our first Tonkinese - she is TOP CAT! Narla rules the house and cattery. She has had some amazing kittens and we have both Asha and Aria from her.
Narla is responsible for our love of this breed, and we just love her to bits.
Narla is a Chocolate Mink with aqua eyes and a very strong personality. She is a big part of our family. Narla is expecting a litter due in early April 2016

Mya is a Chocolate Mink girl with aqua coloured eyes and is one of our show cats. She is not even a year old yet and is already recognized as a champion.
Mya is a fun loving affectionate girl, and we hope to have a litter from her in 2017. If all goes well, we will keep one of her babies to carry on this line...as she is just beautiful.

Aria
Aria is a Lilac Sepia with gold eyes and is Narls daughter. Aria will be having her first litter mid September.
She is a gentle and affectionate cat who loves to play and explore, and gets on with everyone. Aria loves her dad.

Asha
Asha is a Lilac Point with deep blue eyes. Asha is a Siamese - Tonkinese mix and is a large, tall cat and very pretty. Asha spends a lot of her time on our daughters bed in the sunshine and goes for long walks while waiting for our daughter to get home from school.
Asha has beautiful big kittens mostly throwing lilac with aqua eyes and suitable for family pets.

Freya is now spayed, and we are waiting for the right home to come along for her so she can be an only pet and be someone’s baby.

Chilli is a Seal Mink with aqua eyes.
He is a good example of the colour and will get darker as he gets older. Chilli is sold and lives in Pataua.

Elsa is a Seal point with blue eyes. She is 16 is weeks old in this photo and now has a new family in Franklin.

Oskar is 9 weeks old in this photo and is a good example of a Chocolate Mink. He will be our new stud cat and show boy. He is a Gen 4 Tonkinese. Oskar has aqua eyes and will slowly develop his chocolate points and blended body colour as he gets older.

Ice Has 2 baby boys which are now 3 weeks old.
Oskar is a Chocolate Mink boy with aqua eyes and is now a year old.
Oskar is a stud cat and we have recently had his first litter and are very pleased with his babies that have inherited his very gentle temperament and stunning looks.
Oskar comes when he is called and this makes it easy to give him a good life, as he can spend time outside to roam and play.
So easy to love this big, strong, sookie baby.

Loki Bear is a Lilac Mink with aqua eyes and is a neutered pet that we just could not part with.
He has a great sense of humour and is like having a teenager in the house! No fear and no sense of consequence. If it moves jump on it, including utes and trailers! If it's high climb it, and then wait to be rescued. Loki is a mum's boy and very handsome.

Zeus is a Lilac Mink with aqua eyes and is our ex stud cat.
He is now vasectomized and has a wonderful life with visiting girlfriends and his own bachelor pad in the sun.
Zeus has given Treetops and Colourfield cats some beautiful kittens but we have gone as far as we could with his line and is now living the high life. He will stay with us for the rest of his life, going back and forwards between house’s for holiday’s and a change of scenery.

Charlie is a Seal Mink with aqua eyes and is 14 weeks old in this photo.
Charlie is going to be a show girl and a breeding queen when she is older. We hope to have more Seals in our litters as we just love this colour. Charlie is a very content and laid back cat, she is a real softie and spends most of her time on the bed or in front of the fire with Lottie and Willow.

Lottie, also known as Narla’s Whisper, is a Blue mink and is 6 months old in this photo. She is the daughter of Asha and Zephyr, meaning that she is from the same line as Narla. We have kept her to carry on this line of solid cats with a amazing personalities.
Lottie loves the out doors and spends her time watching birds, butterflies and anything that moves from the safety of the window sill.

Willow is still a little girl and is 10 weeks old in this photo, she is a Seal point with blue eyes and she is a Generation 1 Tonkinese
We are hoping to start a new line with Willow. She is just adorable with the loudest purr and biggest personality. She loves to chat away and have cuddles all day.
Willow is so much fun and are really enjoying having her in our family.
We will update photos as she gets older as it is hard to keep her still long enough to get a photograph which does her justice
